By WinFly from Research Triangle, NC on 06/18/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy Casting, Line Doesn't Tangle Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used the line once in a local river, where I fished for panfish. I expect to use this as part of a rig I'll also use for trout and small bass. I admit to limited experience, but thought the line cast smoothly and performed well. A more experienced angler also commented on the smoothness of casts. I thought the price was nice, too--most of you more experienced fly fishermen probably know about the sticker shock facing someone buying their first rig.

By johnny from rochester, ny on 05/30/2008 Cons: Poor Construction, Wont hold a nail knot, Yellow coating falls off Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The line casts well but when you try to tie a nail knot, the yellow coating slides right off from the core. I would not waste my money on this line.

A serviceable floating fly line By recent retiree from Boston, MA on 04/14/2008 Pros: Easy Casting, Line Doesn't Tangle Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this line for use with a just-acquired Orvis T-3 4-wt, mid-flex rod. I am getting used to both. I have used it only once, on a pond. Line worked well, especially when casting longer length of line. Tip floated on the surface, or just under, for about two hours of fishing. For the price, a very good buy.
By kokee from hawaii on 04/02/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy Casting, Line Doesn't Tangle, Reliable, Smooth Reeling Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great all around line
By Don from Sanborn, NY on 03/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It seems like a pretty good fly line. I've had the opportunity to cast it a couple of times and it seems slick and casts easily. The only con and it is a small one is that it doesn't have a loop connector.
