By Avid Walker from Cary, IL on 01/11/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: All Terrain, Flat Terrain, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For my first experience snowshoeing it was a very enjoyable experience. They were easy to adjust to my hiking boot and after that they were quick to put on and take off. I felt like I was walking my regular stride without widening my stance. My only comment is I wish the buckles on the back strap were on the inside of the boot instead of the outside. You have to really reach around your foot to latch the buckle. I might try to change that myself. I look forward to many more outdoor pleasurable experiences with these snowshoes. I intend to use these for a good workout as I do alot of walking in the summer and this is a good alternative for the winter.
Good maneuverability, lightweight By Lisa from San Francisco Bay Area on 01/04/2008 Pros: Compact Design, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Had problems with binding straps staying on securely which I had to tighten several times during my first use. The design is great for a woman's stride and tapered tail is ideal for backcountry use where you want something less clunky. They have decent loft in deep snow. Overall, an excellent snowshoe if I can just get the bindings straps to stay tight.
