By D.B. Cooper from Columbus OH on 01/18/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Break Easily, Not Effective Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These things broke a half mile into my first hike. The bindings are not securely attached to the frame. The nut is on the bottom of the shoe, and it was gone after less than 1000 steps. This seems like the type of problem that would happen all the time.
If snowshoes aren't reliable, they're worse than worthless - they're dangerous.
