By pschey from Golden, CO on 01/12/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very easy walking on flat or rolling terrain. However, straps and snaps are very lightweight. Afraid they won't last long.

By tandem from Wisconsin Rapids, WI on 01/02/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow, Icy Conditions, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I upgraded to these from Tubbs. These are so lightweight and I really like the action hinge, even though it does throw a little more snow up on you. I find them easier to walk in vs. the "drag behind" type. They have great traction which makes going up hills easier. I used to trip regulary in my Tubbs, but haven't tripped in these at all. Bring on the snow!!
Redfeather Pace a GREAT all-around shoe! By Manderbeast from Michigan on 12/28/2008 Pros: Attach Securely, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great snowshow for the beginner or recreational user. Snug fit to varying boots and super easy straps on the binding. There is a lot of extra strap for me to secure after tightening, but that's my only complaint. Cramp-ons work beautifully in icy conditions. Occasionally I'll get to a well-plowed area on my adventures and need to take the shoes off but it's no problem! Easy-off (one-handed), easy back on! I highly recommend this product.

good for trails and shallow snow By denny l from Brookfield, WI on 12/28/2008 Pros: Attach Securely, Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good for running, Good going through woods, Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Kicks up tail snow, Little foot twist, Not good in deeper snow Best Uses: All Terrain, Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Rolling Terrain, Running, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Mostly blaze my own trails. Good for running in up to ten inches of fresh light snow otherwise I sink up to my knees - I'm 150 lbs so I'm way under the max recommended weight. Slim design good going through the woods.
By Sharpie from Gaylord, MI on 12/17/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my first pair of snowshoes. Although they haven't fallen off, I feel like they might. The bindings don't make me feel confident that they won't fall off, however the concern is when walking on ice and was gone when I go into deeper snow. They feel like they are going crooked every now and then. Other than that, I like them a lot.
