By TSellers from Banff, Canada on 08/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take a size 7 1/2 or Large. Based on the reviews I ordered the XL and it just fits me snug, so you definetly need to order one size larger than you normally take. Right out of the box the audio connector is inconsistent, you have to twist and turn the jack in the connector to get one of the channels to work. At the sale price I would recommend it with reservations, I would not recommend it for any price higher though.

By Penguin from das People's Republik of Taxachusetts on 03/02/2009 Pros: Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective Best Uses: Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have an older Bern in a Large. Being able to ride warm in the winter with some fleece was my intent, so I opted for an Extra Large. While marked XL, it's true size feels more like a Medium...After removing the liner with ear flaps and head phones the fit was barely a Large...WAY SMALLER than expected...fit issues are a problem. The overall quality is good but the fit is not even close...disappointing.

By Jesse IHS from Paris, ME on 02/06/2009 Pros: Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Audio may be cheap, Not Well Ventilated Best Uses: Downhill, Half Pipe, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: cool helmet, styley, fit VERY true to size, if you like wearing a hat or bandana under your helmet make sure to go up a size. The headband liner is a little scratchy, so a bandana is a good option. Only two down sides: no ventilation, I was steaming up when i was hiking the park and working thru moguls. Ripping groomers kept me cool. audio system worries me, headphones were cutting out for the first 20 mins then settled down, but the convienence of not wearing earbuds was killer and this is a dope price for a helmet already setup to rock. one more thing, the goggle clip is a little bit of a pain. when goggles are down the strap is hardly held under the clip, not sure how a nasty spill will keep them on or not. Verdict: this is a good affordable audio helmet, worth saving the [$] clams and making this Bern work
By Newbie Skier from Concord, NH on 02/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've tried several helmets. This one is really good. Very comfortable. Has the audio built-in. I like the gray; too many black helmets out there, so this one stands out. Very happy with this purchase.
