I'd hardly call it serious bike riding, but it does get pretty cold here, and it looks like he'll be riding it all fall. I haven't tried it on with a knit hat on yet. It's difficult to get his comments about the quality or ventilation, but he seems to like it. I mean, he'll wear it without complaining.

They fit perfect. It has a warm shell inside for insulation that extends a bit below the helmet in back to keep the neck warm and a little in front so no gap between goggles and helmet. I believe it's removable but have not tried yet. great helmet.
