For its size, this bag really should have wheels. The bag is heavy when empty and very difficult to carry when loaded (2 suits and 1 set of casual clothes). It has more than enough space, simply needs wheels and a retractable handle.

But comparing it to the four other garment bags I have had, I can say that it should allow better organization AND protection of your items (due to the many sections and superior quality / heavy duty materials).
The only drawback for the airline weary (new weight restrictions) will come from its weight being more than smaller / flimsier bags ... anywhere from 2-4 pounds more for just the bag itself.
