By like to hike from Fort Thomas, KY on 01/07/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Did not need 'break in', Durable, Stable, Stain Resistant Cons: Wish it came in 4E width Best Uses: Camping, Cold Weather, Hiking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these a few weeks ago. Wore them for a 3 mile walk on sidewalks, and a 6 mile mixed pavement and trail hike to 'break them in'. I then wore them on a winter scout campout and 10 mile hike in a few inches of snow. I normally wear a wide shoe, but got a half size larger and I was comfortable enough even with thick hiking socks. My feet stayed dry all weekend through all of the slush.
