Great for what I need them for By snowflake from Fairbanks, AK on 07/02/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Protection Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seemed a bit large for me. Slips a bit on my nose. Very comfortable and has good sun protection, even on the sides. I would buy these again.
nice look but temples too loose By Cabin John from Bethesda, MD on 06/20/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Protection, Scratch Resistant Best Uses: At The Beach, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked everything about these glasses except wearing them. Seriously, the temple hinges are spring loaded. This is normally a nice feature, however the problem is that they are too loose for me. I doubted that they would adequately stay on my head if I were to make a sudden movement and could easily wash off in several water sports.

Not Quite What I Expected....... By BC The Fashion King from Denver Colorado on 03/06/2008 Pros: Adequate Tint, Good Protection Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Career, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These glasses provide adequate sun protection however, the style just didn't make it for me. A little on the "old fashion side" of sunglass wear. In addition, the frames did not feel sturdy at all and if not kept in the case, would probably have difficulty not being damaged inadvertently. I think the value for a polarized lense is there, but I could not trade that off for the lack of "sportiness" and design. I have tried other Columbia sunglasses in retail shops and they do make better frames with more style...and for more money of course. The sun shines 330 days out of the year in Denver and so a pair of sunglasses has to feel great as you will be wearing them nearly every day.
