By TheGreatPiscator from The great state of Michigan on 12/07/2008 Pros: Accurate Casting, Good Bargain, Sensitive, Very Affordable Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Small Fish Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm teaching my nephew and nieces to fly-fish, and I'd rather have them learn with this inexpensive rod than one of my more valuable rods. I now own four of these, so each kid can have their own. If they break a tip, no great loss. I've even used one when fishing for crappie and bluegills, and they're actually not a bad rod.
By Minervasowl from Nashville, TN on 11/21/2008 Pros: Accurate Casting, Good Tip Action Best Uses: Fly Fishing, River Fishing, Small Fish Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Considering what we fly fishermen have come to expect to pay for a decent rod, this rod is an excellent value, particularly as a backup in the event, God forbid, that our 4 figure rod gives up the ghost on the job. Thanks, Sierra!
By Fishin Fanatic from Sunny California on 11/15/2008 Pros: Accurate Casting, Durable, Good Tip Action, Sensitive Cons: No rod tube included, Two piece rod Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Trout and Panfish Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Been using over ten of these to instruct Boy Scouts. These cast and load best for beginning casters with double taper 6 WT fly lines. Great rod quality for beginning fly fishers at a great price. The only problem has been to find quality reels and line to match the rods at a similar low cost... which I have been able to accomplish mostly at this fantastic web site.

Unbelievable Rod for the Money By Fishing Farmer from Maine on 07/30/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great extra rod for that trip, or to throw behind the seat of your pick-up. Casts better than rods costing ten times as much. At only [$], I bought two.
