Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very attractive and well made boots. Fit seems a bit large but not much. I had read others' comments before purchasing regarding the need to go down one-half size, which I did, and the fit is fine. I think my usual size would have worked too however. Only disappointment is that the width and overall heft of this boot is not as substantial and chunky as some other engineer boots I own. These almost look like dress shoes once your jeans cover up the top part. On the other hand, these are very stylish and nice looking, slightly more formal and refined... I guess I just prefer a chunkier, clunkier, wider and more rounded style.
