So far my son (who is 17 and has the same size foot as mine)has a brand new pair of $300 Browning Kangaroos and a nice new pair of Itasca hunting boots that he has inherited from me during this time frame because nothing seemed to fit right. Have never bought a Carolina boot until this pair. They are built extremely well and I have never owned a boot this comfortable. I normaly wear a 10.5 med but got the 10.5 wide so I could put an extra sock on when the weather cools off. Worked great. I paid [$] for these with one of STP's promotions, but would have been happy to pay full price for a boot that fits and works like these do.[...] STP is the only place I shop on-line because they deliver as promised, every time. Thanks very much.

My previous 2 yr old models are starting to show some wear. I'm afraid that Carolina is going to close this model out and I absolutely love them. I work in these boot every day in a heavy industrial oil and gas refinery.

Great boot for the price. Almost immediately, I felt very comfortable in them.
They work great and the soles provide non-slip traction. Cons: These are non-steel toe versions and yet they feel a little heavy. The side logo of the company emblem ruins the look of an all classic leather boots.
The leather is not the best and I suggest using some form of waterproofing wax to treat them first. Overall very good for a made in China boot. I can definitely see myself using these for quite a long time in rough terrain. Unbeatable price for the quality. 4 1/2 stars.

They got scratched, dirty and wet, and after a hosing and drying, they were ready to go for a full week of hard use.
