My feet will be warm again this winter By Happy Trails from RAF MIldenhall , UK on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought my boots in 2005 while I was living in Northern Japan where it snows around 5 months out of the year. These boots not only kept my feet warm in-10C but they stayed warm all day and were always dry. I used for them for snowshoeing in the mountains and even crossed a stream in them and my feet were never a problem. I have been in England for 2 winters now and once again, I can count on them.

By Forest Ranger from Creede, CO on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Fairly good traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Elk hunting Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these boots for elk hunting in snow and cold, wet weather. They are very lightweight. Been hiking in snow on side slopes and the traction is pretty good for the type of boot.
By Formerly Cold from Reno, NV (Juneau, AK temporarily) on 10/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are incredibly warm! I am always, always cold but recently had an opportunity to visit Alaska for the first time (I'm in AK as I review! I am so excited I have to share it with you now!), and I have not been cold one time because my feet are SO WARM! I bought these boots long ago on a "thirds" rack thinking one day I'd use them for something, and I'm so, so glad I did. They are a full size larger than my regular Keen size (I have a lot), so definitely size up! It's been raining since I arrived, and right around 40 degrees F, but I've been so warm because of these boots! We're going hiking on a glacier tomorrow, and I have no question that these will stand up to the challenge. I think I will wear them everyday this winter...they are a little hard on and off, but easier the more you do it.

KEEN ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT By HAPPY FEET IN IOWA from CLEAR LAKE, IA on 07/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I THOUGHT THESE BOOTS WERE UGLY WHEN I FIRST GOT THEM, THEN I SLIPPED THEM ON AND WOW I LOVE THEM. THE SIZE RUNS VERY SMALL I NORMALY WEAR A 6 SO I HAD TO TRY 3 TIMES TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE I ENDED UP WITH 7. I HAVEN'T USED THEM TO SEE IF THEY ARE WARM BUT I KNOW THE BRAND IS ALWAYS WHAT THEY SAY.

By jb from north hampton nh on 05/21/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boot ran small. I needed to exchange for a half of size larger. The style is nice and I'm looking forward to using it at winter time.
Very comfy boot, but it runs small... By fergus from Lewistown, MT on 05/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very comfortable and of high quality, just what I expect from Keen. They do seem to run a little small, though. I bought them for my wife (avid Keen fan), who usually wears a 10 1/2 in keen shoes, and a 10 in some of the keen sandals. I bought a 10 1/2 in the wintersport boots and when she put them on she said they felt quite small. I wound up giving them to my mother instead, who wears a 9 1/2 in her regular Keens. They fit her perfectly and she commented that they feel almost exactly like the size 9 1/2 keen shoes she had just taken off. It seems as though they build a 10 1/2 boot, then insulated it and didn't account for the bulk of the linings.
Bottom line, I highly recommend these boots but be aware that you might need a bigger size than you regularly wear.
