Excellent balance for the body. Easy for cooking. Cook to just sit around.
The first day I went to town wearing the blue ones, 3 shop owners came out and wanted to get some for themselves.
I bought a pair for my best friend in rosewood.
Takes a little more time to get in and out of them. Smooth socks feel best.
It took one week of using an air purifier to lessen the chemical odor. Felt like it was soaking
into my feet. So, I used a deodorant powder in them. Now, they are fine.
By Jennifer J. from Minnesota on 01/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Fierce, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are wonderful boots, super comfortable, easy off/on and lightweight. Not clunky or cumbersome at all! I have the black pair, I wish I had purchased another pair for my daughter...she keeps stealing mine! I work on a playground with elementary school kids and these boots keep my feet warm, dry and allow me to run after the kids! Also PERFECT for walking the dog in the winter.
By Yogadoc from Boston, Massachusetts on 12/30/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have never found a boot that is warm, waterproof and has good tread all in one. I can actually walk in the snow and ice and not have to hunch over to check to see if there is an ice patch to navigate around. I am just thrilled beyond belief. If the boot had been in stock in 1/2 size larger, that would have been best, and a color other than turquoise might have been a bit more subtle. However, none of this deters from my delight with the product. I no sooner put on my boots than walked to a neighborhood party where at least five people checked the boot out and immediately wanted to know where I had purchased it. So, thanks Keene [...]. Happy Snow, winter and New Year.
By mainer04270 from Oxford, Maine on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have Keen sandals,so I knew these boots would be top quality. I do notice, however, that they are hard to get on and off. Also, having bought the Keen sandals, I knew Keens run very small, so I ordered a larger size. People need to know this, before ordering the size.
By MountainWoman from Colorado on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with all Keens, VERY comfy. They don't snug-up as well as Keen sandals, but adjust enough to keep them on your feet for all casual uses. I wouldn't use them for snowshoeing. Style is well...uh, different. If you want a more traditional looking boot, order the black ones.

I have had several compliments on just the look and style alone. The size is true and the comfort is great. I find that I wear these boots in the snow and in the cold on icy trails and the traction is solid.
