No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these glasses for hunting and was very disappointed in their field of view and the low-light clarity. I have a much older pair of Zeiss glasses that are much better even after 25 years. I did not think the Steiner 8 x 42 were worth the money and returned them.
