I live in Chicago, and I got these just in time for the first big snow storms here in Dec. 2008. They are great boots at a great price. I have worn them every day since they came in the mail, and have no complaints. They have kept my feet warm and dry in snow, rain, and sub zero temps. I highly recommend them!

I bought these boots for my 11 year old son. He loves them and says they are "super comfy". They are very good quality and look good too. He uses them to play in the snow and sledding. I would recommend these boots. They would certainly be suitable for grown men as well as for tweens/teens.

Great and comfortable Boots
By HaraldVerified Reviewer from Germany on 02/04/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These are very comfortable winter boots. They look quite big but for their size they are astonishing lightweight. They come almost true to size. Normally I wear size 12 but I ordered a 13 because it seemed difficicult to exchange the shoes because of a wrong size from USA to Germany and back. So I thought, better order too big than too small. Size 13 now fits good when I wear thicker socks. Size 12 could have been somewhat tight. We just had our first (and probably only snow) this year in my part of Germany. The boots are warm (when it's round or just under 0 degrees C outside) and have a good grip in snow. Due to the lack of lower temperatures I'm not able to comment on the warmth when it is really cold outside. They have a snug fit above the ankle. I like this! All in all great shoes in my opinion.

Great choice
By SteveVerified Reviewer from Nashville TN /Thunder Bay, Ontario on 01/04/2008

Best Uses:
After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:

Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports
Bottom Line:

Comments:
I purchased these along with the Kamik Ramey Pac boots. Ended up choosing these because they were more flexible, lighter weight and needed virtually no break in, plus they were mid-calf height rather than "tall-ankle" height. Wore them in temps down to -5F with a single pair of wool socks for several hours and worked great-never felt any cold, and my feet would feel it. One note: while these are very warm, they are very flexible all around and do not provide protection to your feet like hiking boots or steel-toe boots. If you are working around machinery, etc., these are probably not the best choice but great for around town, long walks in the snow, doing light work, etc. The Kamik Ramey boots were great, too, but heavier and not as high so decided not to keep them.
