By Doolittle from Pittsfield, Massachusetts on 02/27/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable, Not Warm Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The Kamik Riverside Pac boots are very difficult to get on and off. They are not a true fit and are very tight. When trying to put the boot on, it feels as though your heel is pushing the insulation in the lining down into the boot making it very uncomfortable. This is the only shoe of the many shoes I've purchased from Sierra that did not fit perfectly. I have since returned them and ordered a pair of Columbia boots from Sierra Trading Post.
By ChainRingRat from Worcester, MA on 12/20/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are as advertised and expected. The lining takes several hours of use to get broken in. The fill material seems to make it a bit difficult for entry initially but not a major concern.

By Crashby Vermont from Fletcher VT on 12/03/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Liners are not removeable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seem to run a litle small for the size. Nice boot, very comforable and warm. My only complaint is you cannot remove the liners to expedite drying time.
By Tim from Fontanelle, IA on 10/19/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Quality Construction, Warm Best Uses: OutdoorGeneral use Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This seems like a good solid, boot. Very stiff soled but still comfortable. Seems to be just a little big for size, maybe not quite a half size, thick socks or two pair will take care. Don't feel as heavy/clunky as they look. Am looking forward to testing out how warm they are.
