I keep it by my breakfast table, so I don't miss the train! Backlight is not extremely bright and it is easy on your eyes, so it should be good to keep around your bedside table. I like the sound of the alarm, too. You don't want to wake up to alarm sound that's too harsh.

First time I used the alarm it took a few minutes, but now I can set the alarm within seconds. It also features a lit display at night if you press it. I also like the fact that it is small, neat, and portable. Great price, too; I will buy more for gifts!

This little alarm is perfect.The price is right,and it was easy to set up even before I had a look at the instructions.If you have a hard time figuring these gadgets out, the instructions for use are printed on the cover for quick reference.
If you are a very heavy sleeper, this may be too quiet of an alarm for you.
It's perfect for me, easy, convenient and nice and light for the suitcase. I'm very happy with it.

Unfortunately there are a few negatives that make it frustrating like it is really hard to get the light to come on at night-not on all the time. Also, the buttons on the back are a real pain. They are hard to get to and it's hard to figure out how to program and get the thing set. Once you get used to it, it does get better and you really can't beat it for the price.

It is heavier than the itty bitty travel clocks I ususally get (Sharp), but they all break. Easy to configure, however it does not pick up the signal and therefore is not working as an atomic clock (but it does keep good time). I have another atomic clock next to it that works fine.

The night light comes on with light pressure on the top of the alarm.
