Can i give this boot Zero stars? By munous from Seward, Alaska on 04/01/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Poor Support Describe Yourself: Intermediate Skier Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots were OK the first time out. I just want to get exercise during the winter, so i didn't really care they had no support and looked like they were from [...]. On the next ski the "King-tex" (that is what they seriously call their nylon fabric) began falling out. Now the toe has separated from the sole, and snow packed into the toe box. I see STP now has some fischers on sale for about the same price. I ski in remote places, and i have to rely on my gear. I shouldn't chance it with [...] equipment. I still love STP, but will stick to brands i know from now on.
By munous from Seward, AK on 03/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier, Intermediate Skier Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable as a slipper with the same amount of support: none. Plus, very poorly made, as other reviewers noted. My last ski with these will be my last. I felt something in the toe box, and realized when i got back the boot separated from the sole and snow was packing into the toe area. Plus seams coming apart. I use them, they don't gather dust, but i have to rely on my gear. I was on a isolated/remote trail last time, and if these things would have failed on me its not a good situation. Definitely getting name brand boot next time.

I would buy this product again By munchkin from Libby, Mt. on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Look Cool, Quality Construction, Warm Best Uses: Great for breaking trail, With or without gaitors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is my first NNN system boots.I had 3 pin shoes before, what a pleasant difference. These boots keep my feet warm and dry even when breaking trail. Gaitors fit great. There is plenty of room for toes. They fit like a good pair of my favorite old boots. I want to be out x-country skiing every day!!
By Rascal from Seattle on 02/14/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are good quality at a good price. I figure they might last with easy use. The fit is loose and there is no support, so figure on purchasing insoles as well. My Superfeet worked like a charm. The boots get wet easily, so don't plan on using them in deep snow or breaking trail. These boots are middle of the road quality and performance for use in the middle of the road ... or in this case, the well groomed trail.

Very good product.

Nice boot but may be too wide for women By Cross-country ski enthusiast from Rochester, NY on 01/27/2009 Pros: Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return them because they were a bit too short. The next size is too wide in the heel, but I need the wide toe. These are considerably wider than the women's boots I tried on. Very warm.
