By Big Doc from Idaho on 01/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Ridiculously small, catalog says 14 to 14.5 equivalent feels more like 12
Not worth buying or wearing By Amy from Kansas on 01/23/2009 Cons: Fell apart the first time, Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Poor Traction, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not useful. Would not recommend to anybody. Not enough ankel support or ways to adjust. Seams started to come undone the first time that I wore these. I was very disappointed. I coulnd't even give them away. Too much like a hiking boot rather than a x-country boot.
By Nature Boy from Duluth, MN on 01/08/2009 Cons: Difficult Lacing System, Poor Construction, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We run a nature center and bought 70 pairs of these to be used for teaching beginning skiers. The overall quality is truly aweful! They are hard to lace, fit poorly, don't always snap into bindings securely, and have begun to fall apart. Even if you're just beginning, pay a few bucks more for something comfortable that you won't have to replace in a year or less.

By Crash from Wichita, KS on 03/08/2008 Cons: Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Best Uses: shoveling the driveway Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first 3 days out at Snow Mountain Ranch in CO, there was wear and tear already as some of the threads on both boots started coming loose. I'm one to keep shoes and boots for years so this was not from my abuse. A friend had the same thing happen on the same boot. They are now collecting dust in the closet as I couldn't return them to the place I bought them from. Buy a well known name brand such as Salamon or Rossingnol. They were sloppy feelign and left me with no control. i have wide feet but these were much larger than I needed. I finally have a good pair and that can make a HUGE difference in control, comfort and fun. I will say these boots were at least warm, but don't get wet.
By JimB from New Jersey on 02/28/2008 Cons: Difficult Lacing System, Lacks Adjustability, Poor Construction, Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My shoe size (in most shoes) is 46 (11.5 - 12). I got a 46 in these boots and it was too large, even with thick socks. The sole was too flexible, and didn't keep the foot on the ski as it should. All of this was easier to take than the lacing system. It was hard to lace up, hurt around the ankles, and was not effective. It might improve with time, but I doubt it. Not good.
By jeaniebeanie74 from beautiful columbia river gorge on 01/17/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Too Much Flex Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this boot for my husband. He has wide feet so it fit fine in that dept, but it offered ZERO arch support. Overall, it offered very little support. The boot was too flexible & squishy for xc skiing. The materials in the ankle area were fluffy & thick but still didn't offer much support, and couldn't adjust the fit very well. I will send back for a refund.
