I love these backpacks - they look good, are comfortable and hold a lot of stuff. We are also using them to pack for a short trip to Kentucky this weekend and they can hold everything we need. The price was also great especially when compared with other major retailers I checked out.

Well made with plenty of room By Dave from Japan on 03/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Large capacity, Lightweight Cons: Insufficient Padding Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Plenty of room and very useful two side pockets. It would be nice to have padded handle at the top. Also separate zip opening for the water bag would help. As it is, you will need to take some of your items out before getting to the water bag.

By theopolis from wa on 03/09/2009 Cons: Weather inviter to inside Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a larger pack for my everyday things. This one has mesh pockets in front. (Not good when it rains unless you are washing some dirty undies or something.) The side pockets were open on top with just a flap over them. I guess to catch rain and snow to store for later. At the very top is a water faucet hole/opening with just a small rubber flap to cover this hole. I want to keep the rain and snow and other things out, not invite these things in to ruin my day.
I returned the pack.
