By Megan from Christiansburg, VA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Large capacity, The green is a nice color Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked the looks of the bag, though it is quite buily even when empty. I wanted to use it for work/school to transport a laptop and books in and the design of the main compartment zipper doesn't allow for easy loading of books etc. Would be nice if the hip straps were removable. Good padding, but I could never get it comfortable on my back, especially not with a load.

Woman specific fit is worth it!!! By Hikes with dogs from Sandyston, NJ on 06/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As an avid hiker I've been through many packs and I really feel this pack is probably the most comfortable. Being 5'2", most packs did not rest comfortably on my frame. I find this pack fits my frame well and carries all my supplies. I'm usually a day hiker but I can see doing a few overnights with it.
By ErinS from Casper, WY on 06/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Great padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Cycling, Day trip, Hiking, School Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had this backpack for a year now and used it nearly every day for cycling to and from school with books, hiking, weekend travel, and I still love it. Love love love it. It's comfortable, well-padded and easy to adjust. It has great organization and more than enough storage for the things I need. I am so glad I invested in this pack and I really hope that when it finally wears out, I'm able to find another I like as much.
By j9rerun from Colorado Springs, CO on 06/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this pack for air travel. It fits under most air craft seats well. I can pack enough clothes for a non-business minimalist week including running and swimming gear. I have to be careful not to pack the front pocket too full or it won't fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat. The compartments are just right.
Backpacks that make you wanna hike! By MtnLovinMama from Georgia on 04/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good padding, Highly Adjustable, Large capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I both just got Kelty backpacks(the 3100 for him and the 2500 for me)for an upcoming trip to Utah and Colorado. I love these backpacks - they look good, are comfortable and hold a lot of stuff. We are also using them to pack for a short trip to Kentucky this weekend and they can hold everything we need. The price was also great especially when compared with other major retailers I checked out.
