By great white northerner from michigan on 02/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like the look and feel of the jacket, but was disappointed that the zipper is on the wrong side. This is also true for the 3-in-one zipper. I have a 3-in-one fleece of another brand, so I have to turn it inside-out to be able to use in this jacket. Must be a Lowe Alpine thing.
Great Jacket, GRRReat Price By WC the climber from Florence, SC on 01/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Pockets too small and low Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great for rain and with a fleece underneath, it is fine for cold weather. I love this jacket. Not to mention it looks great too and for a fraction of the cost of a Northface or Mountain Hardwear.

The color goes well with the Midnight Blue. It's 15 degees out so will have to wait to see how waterproof they are. So far we are very pleaed with the quality.
By No Nickname from Minneapolis MN on 12/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Pocket Access is limited Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this primarily as a shell for winter in heavy cold here in Minnesota and will probably be a primary jacket in fall and spring for a while.
Lowe ALpine Deluge Jacket By jerseyp from erie, pa on 12/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Cons: Could use armpit zippers Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good jacket and better than gore-tex jackets I owned. There is still condensation if you walk in a downpour for a long time but this is true with any jacket. Went tent camping in the allegheny mountains and this first day and a half it poured and I stayed reasonably dry. I would have been soaked in my gore-tex jacket. Great bang for the buck.
Basic design is good. Needs improvement By True to AZ from Payson, AZ on 12/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Cons: Drawcord design poor, Zipper hard to start Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used for raingear and wind breaker. Extra length is big plus. Zipper design and draw cord design are poor. It is still a good jacket.

Fantastic WATERPROOF jacket By Mid-age traveller from Toronto, Ontario on 08/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far I've only worn this once in the rain but it was GREAT. Not only was it actually waterproof in a downpour, I was amazed at how quickly the outside of the jacket dried. Was at a party and got a lot of comments about it looking like a great jacket. Plus it became the thing to borrow for a few minutes when anyone had to go out into the pouring rain.
