excellent layer for the frosty activity By doc from floating round ennis mt and sheboygan wi on 01/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Long torso keeps out wind, Versatile, Warm, Water wind resistant Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket rocks in sub-freezing winter conditions during strenuous outdoor pursuits, ie. xc ski, snowshoe, backcountry ski, runs, etc. Good wind and snow barrier and keeps ya dry as the sweat boils in the climbs. fits great under a hard shell if temps drop, you hit the downhill runs, or you need a breather. packs and wears tight and light and looks durn hip. I'm long on the upper torso; most coats expose my midrift to the elements if arms are active, but this jacket does the trick without getting huge overall. a bit tight on the wrists.

Would look good if I were much smaller! By Nip In Noank from Noank, CT on 01/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a softshell for several months. All the ones I have tried so far have a common problem - sleeves that are much too small to wear a sweater or fleece under them - or even rolled up button down long sleeves! And this jacket was the worst of all that I have tried. In addition, the body was small. I wear a medium 90+ % of the time - but this medium felt like a small. I checked the label to make sure that a medium had been shipped, and was not a women's style.
Great jacket for running. By Deer Runner from Grand Haven, MI on 01/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Great moveability Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although this is a men's jacket, I bought it for myself. I am a size 6/8 and a Men's small is a good fit. I ran in college and a bit after; I find this to be a great jacket for workouts on the track or just long runs. I wore a medium weight base layer with this jacket in 25 degree weather and I was fine.
By Shaggy from Flagstaff, AZ on 12/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a light layer for mountain biking, climbing and skiing. Has good cut so jacket doesn't ride up when I lift my arms over my head. If you have T-rex sized arms the sleeves might seem too long. Its amazingly water resistant and windproof. I'm very happy with this product.

By Sierra West User from Colorado on 12/02/2008 Pros: Durable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best jacket I own. Size is a little roomy but that is good for layering if needed. I bought a similar model from Lowe for more money but this jacket is far better. Not micro-light, just right for warmth on its own or a good shell for an inner layer.
By ken from West Virginia on 04/11/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bicycling, General outdoor use, Going Out, walking Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a jacket that had a close fit for outdoor activities. I was tired of overstuffed or bulky things when bike riding or walking thru the woods. This is perfect and although I've not tried it, supposed to be water repellent.
