Slick Side Zip Top, Order Size Up By SF Climbing Lady from San Francisco, CA on 08/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Soft Fabric, Stylish, Versatile Cons: Polyester Feel Outside, Size runs very small Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Lounging, Skiing, WinterFall Sports Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, after reading all of the reviews I decided to order a Large (I am 36" 29" 37) even though usually I would be a small or med at most. It fits like a good second layer, and has some room in the trunk of the body, not too tight, and hugs my curves. If you want it super tight, just order a size up, otherwise consider 2 sizes up. The inside is a soft stretchy fleece, and the outside is a rougher polyester tech fabric. The shirt looks a bit funny unzipped, but kind of funky, and additionally it doesn't stop wind- not that its supposed to. I would use it for all around town in cold SF or snowboarding base layer. It is sturdy and thick, feels very well made, just make sure to never, ever put it in the dryer, it might melt.

By 53 is the new 35 from heidelberg, germany on 02/10/2009 Cons: Color Not As Expected, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The stretchy, thick fabric and diagonally zipped neck looks like it will make a great warm base layer, however, I could hardly get it over my head. I normally wear a 6-8 in street clothes but this medium feels like an extra small. Also, the rose color is more muted and peachy-brown than it appears online. A disappointment.
By MichMom from Rochester, MI on 02/04/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great thumbholes, Stylish, Warm good weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold weather wwear Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Classic Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for an alternative to wool which irritates my skin. Unfortunately, I developed a rash all over my torso after wearing this shirt for a few hours. Two positives, though: 1) material is warm 2) I purchased two in January, and received an online discount of 50% for the second, reducing the price to [$]. Because I can't wear the shirts, I returned them. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to pass on this.
By marimara from Sammamish, WA on 01/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Good Fit, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Outdoor winter adventures Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this top in the ivory color last year and now this one in the rosy color. This top is awesome when skiing/snowboarding. The long sleeves and thumb holes provide for warm wrists under gloves! I recommend ordering up a size. I usually wear Medium, but in this the Large fits perfectly. The angle zip is very cool looking!

Also, the stitching along the zipper is not solid.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the thumb holes in the sleeves. I wear a 6-8 size and bought the Large. It's a good, trim fit. Definitely buy up in size and you'll be happy with this top. Very soft, very warm, very snazzy looking.

By EL from Ross, CA on 11/23/2008 Pros: High Quality, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Good in cold weather Describe Yourself: Classic Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a well made, warm top. I am usually a size four and the small was tight so I suggest ordering a size larger than usual. The zipper on the diagonal was difficult to open and close and the garment was heavier than I wanted so I returned it in spite of its many good qualities.
