By Aqua Flyer from Phoenix AZ on 10/30/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a petite and these were not going to work for me as they weren't even near in the crouch area like some are that I can shorten. But if you are tall they are nice.
By Climbing Gal from Bend, OR. on 08/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants for rock climbing. While they're great gym-climbing pants, they feel a bit too thin for outdoor climbing. Like they could get torn pretty easily.
I'm just happy to find a pair of outdoorsey pants NOT in earth tones. I'm not an "earth tone" kinda gal, and am constantly looking for functional outdoor clothing in anything but brown, orange, and forest green. I got these pants in the "ruby" color, and I love it. These pants have a cute stitched design pattern on the back too.
good bargain for the price By x-rayer from Sonoma, CA on 08/09/2009 Cons: Color Not As Expected Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good for camping; light weight, easily packed
By lynds from palm coast, florida on 03/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality Cons: Was slightly baggier Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking sports Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Useful for hiking and outdoors, dries easily. I was afraid they would be too big, but they fit well. A little large around the waist, but makes for comfortable movement for activities.
By Susan from Phoenix, Az on 03/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Returned item for a refund.
By snowman from colombia on 02/13/2009 Pros: High Quality, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Disregard the note saying you should disregard the size conversion inside garment, I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is a size 6, following the sierra size guide I bought a size 40. Well, it's actually a size 12 just like it says on the label, She'd fit twice in this thing.
Other than the crazy sizing the pants are really cool and high quality.
By STP Addict from Northern Colorado on 01/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit is good for women with narrower waists/hips but big thighs and flatters the rear end. These appear to be well made despite the invisible zipper which just ends at the top of the waist band and can be a little challenging to zip up or down. The string tie seems to protect the zipper from being over stressed at the top if it is tied a little tighter. I have 4 pairs of the capris and wore them a lot last summer with good durability. It's nice to have them in the full length too.
By oregongolfer from oregon on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was a little dubious after reading the other reviews but I must be a lucky size because these fit me perfectly. These fit perfectly and will work great for casual outdoors activities.
great if you can figure out your size. By Mrs. Shred from Flagstaff, AZ on 12/23/2008 Pros: Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Size for this product are crazy! I'm a 4 the tag says 10? It kinda fits. A gamble at best. If you nail your size you'll be stoked!
Got a pair that fits, still returning. By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 12/11/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Where to start... I read the other reviews on these pants and did manage to get one that fit me based on them. Go larger than you think necessary. The length was okay. But even then, what? The zippers and fly are angled in the most unflattering way (pointing suggestively down and center-- I am not shy, this was just not classy), and the fly zipper was very difficult and sticky. Also the drawstring is either going to be outside of your pants in a huge bow where it should be smooth, or a weird bulge tucked under the fly where it should be smooth. Not necessary, very ugly. There was no stretch and little give to the fabric, and fit was tighter through the thigh proportionately. These weren't comfy or flattering, and they really needed to be at least one or the other. Disappointing, returned.
