They are great for the gym, running, but also to weare out. The sizes are not consistent. I bought two pairs the same size. One pair was too small, the other pair just fits. Other than that, they are great.

Good fit. Will wear around whenever. The stretchiness will make them good for hiking too.

One word of advise...they are a European company so follow the sizing guide. Do not be turned off the by size and purchase what the guide recommends. These shorts will be great for my commuting on bike and hiking this summer.

They fit well and will work well for hiking. The only thing I am iffy about is the waist ... the waistline is high on me (above the belly button.)

Use the STP recommended size! Inside the shorts they say a 34 is a 6 -- no way! STP IS CORRECT. I am a true zero and they fit fine. The zipper is a little difficult where it hits the waistband, but I ran the zipper up and down a few times and it is loosening up. At my size, it's great to find shorts that fit!

The sizes are wrong on the web though. I ordered a 44 and when it came, it was sized 44/16. On the web, it says 44/10. I reordered in a 40, guessing it will really be a 12, even though I'm a 10, because I still think they run a little small. I'm hoping they fit, becuase I really like the fabric!

That was a mistake....they were much too big. I am exchanging them for my standard size 4. They were really nice and I'm hoping the size 4 fits. Because they were so nice, I ordered the pant & capri versions too. Can't wait to get them!

Hidden zipper kept getting snagged on seams, it was very unstable.
