Terrific endurance suit for training! By Ironwoman Triathlete from Gahanna, Ohio on 08/06/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, chlorine resistant, Dries Quickly, Flattering, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Athletic, Long distance triathlete Cup Fit: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit is excellent for hours spent in the swimming pool training for long distance events!
It is definitely for endurance training with the chlorine resistant properties and my previous Speedo designed for "endurance" has lasted almost nine months now, where other Speedos last typically three months for me.
By Sally Swimmer from Chicago, IL on 07/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Fit, High Quality Describe Yourself: Athletic Cup Fit: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit works great for swimming laps. It fits just like a glove and comfortable even if you get stuck having to wear it all day undercloths.
By Stacy from Minneapolis, MN on 07/17/2008 Pros: Ok for serious swimmers Describe Yourself: Athletic, Cost conscious Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit felt larger than a Speedo of the same size and same cut.
It might be great for really serious swimmers, but I couldn't get past the fabric -- which felt like my junior high gym shorts. I'll be exchanging this item.
By TxGal from Houston, TX on 07/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Dries Quickly, Flattering, Good Fit, High Quality Best Uses: Beach, Swimming Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic Cup Fit: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So, it fits well and has full coverage in the rear as all good Speedos can be counted on for, and I am going to keep it as it will be a functional suit but . . . there is one weird thing about this, and that is the way it fits across the chest. Now, granted, I am a bit busty (34C), but the way the design works across the chest really seems to emphasize the bosom. The starburst on the right just seems to draw the eye right to chest level. It is kind of weird. But like I said, it fits and is otherwise pretty cute and is of good Speedo quality so I am relatively pleased.
Nice suit but bigger than expected By Liz from Raleigh on 07/02/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Racing, Surfing, Swimming Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented Cup Fit: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased both this suit and the "Speedo Big City Swimsuit with Flyback (For Women)" suit, to see which fit better. A 38 in this suit fits the same as a 40 in the speedo big city suit. This suit was bigger than I expected. And bigger than most racing suits tend to be I think.
By Karine from Seattle on 07/02/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Beach, Swimming Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this suit. It fits well and is well cut. I had been looking for a polyester performance suit as these hold up to chlorine much better than nylon. This one is cute and comfortable. I had to size up a couple of sizes as I didn't want a really tight fit. I wish it had a little more support at the bust, but it was a tradeoff. I bought two because the price was so great!
By lindyloo from muskegon, michigan on 06/16/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, High Quality Cons: Buy atleast a size bigger, Leg cuts high Describe Yourself: Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: dries quickly, flattering, hard to get on
By Berkeley swimmer from Berkeley, CA on 06/16/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Dries Quickly, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Fitness/lapswim Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this suit for swimming laps. I normally wear a small in everything, but listened to the advice about "sizing up" and found the 36 to be just right. I wish the leg openings were non quite so high-cut, but otherwise this is a great suit.
By Me from Minnesota on 06/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality Describe Yourself: Athletic, Comfort-oriented Cup Fit: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A long lasting suit is important, so it was nice to find one that had polyester for the lining as well as the main suit.
