Almost like wearing bike shorts. By BikeBoy5 from Chicago, IL on 12/01/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good Padding, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets, Way too long Best Uses: Road Biking, Winter commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear these on my 2:45AM morning 6 mile commute and they're the lower covering I've used. With a pair of long compression shorts and over-the- calf wicking sox, I'm comfortable (so far) to 14 degrees. I ride fairly hard (NOT a recreational rider) and these don't get me over-heated.
By bike 2 work from Colorado Springs, CO on 11/11/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these will keep your legs warm in 30 degree weather. Id like to try for zero. Too bad it doesn't have pockets.
nice cycling tights, but length was long By s. avid cyclist. from northern ca on 11/10/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Padding, Good Pockets and Features, Warm in 45 degree temp Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great cold weather riding tights that fit true to size in the waist and hips. good chamois pad kept ride comfortable. however, the leg length seams were too long for being 5'8. seems to be the only drawback on these tights.
Comfort and fit are a-one By Arsonk9 from Evansville, Indiana on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First time I put these on I split a seam on the thigh. Might have been my fault the way I pulled them on. Wife repaired and they "seam" o.k. now. The padding is good but prefer the chamois that is in the shorts better. They are the right length (I'm 6'2"). They are not as warm as I expected but I prefer 95 to 50 so I may be a little wimpy in the cool weather. I would have another pair of these but would explain the minuses to a friend before I told him to buy them.
I have already recommended these By kg from Seattle, WA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Padding, Good Pockets and Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good pad and warmth. I went out in upper 40s and felt great.
Seam came out the first time I put it on By Lenny from Greensboro, NC on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Liked the tights, but seam came out first time I pot them on.
Great tights for the inbetween temps By Droy Rider from Sturgis, MI on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As in other reviews, the tight does feel like it needs an inch or two more padding towards the rear.
By Hibby from Portland, OR on 10/15/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants so that my legs won't freeze during my early morning commute. They seem to do the job and the fit is rather true around the waist. However, unless you are over 6+ft tall they are too long. As for the chamios? What can I say, I've yet to find something that is perfect.
By Bike for your life... from Philadelphia on 05/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Padding, Great for cool weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this in the cool Philadelphia Spring weather. Definitely adequate for the job. Rode about 80 miles in these pants and did not notice any deficiency in the padding (no sore feeling). Will do the job for the price.
Nice, but check the chamois first By Paul from El Cerrito CA on 02/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Chamois is placed too far forward to do anything for me. I've had lots of bike shorts & tights and this seems unusual. But the other reviews here are positive so they must fit some people. They are nice, otherwise.
