The coat is sufficient to keep out cold and damp, while not feeling heavy. However, the belt doesn't add anything and I will be removing the (thread) belt loops. Also, the collar is too large for the coat to be a Classic design, which the rest of the coat tries to be. Overall, I am pleased with the coat - and I've been looking for a long time!

A Bit roomy in waist, but that's okay -- belt is helpful here.

With this coat I've got both. It's amazingly soft and very warm. It has less spacing than is usual between the buttons on a women's overcoat which is a great thing; it means that there's less room for the wind to sneak in. I've received many compliments on this coat and would have had to pay 3 times what I paid here for it at a department store.

Plenty of room to wear a jacket underneath. Lots of compliments.

The red color is more of a burnt orangish red than the true red I was expecting. However, it is still an attractive color.
There are belt loops to hold the belt.

I have gotten compliments all 3 times I have worn it. Fits well over big sweaters and jackets without looking bulky. Big collar is very warm. I wish the belt had loops on the coat, so I didn't have to keep track of it. Not as long as the warmest winter coats.

Has some serious shoulderpads, which make it a little snug if you're wearing a suit jacket underneath.
