By m from virginia on 02/21/2009 Pros: Camo Design, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Cold Climate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far so good. My hands stay warm and dry. I haven't had the opportunity to test them in a really damp environment so I can't attest to their waterproofness. The built in glove liners are great for keeping your fingers warm enough to use them when fine dexterity matters. The construction seems to be pretty good quality with the exception of one thing; the magnets that connect the mitten to the back of the hand don't line up all that well so in order for them to connect I have to pull them together. That's the only problem I've had with them. And it's only on the right hand that it happens on. The left is fine. If you plan to do any navigation by use of a compass make sure you take off the gloves because the magnets are strong enough to throw off a compass. But that's just what you get when you opt for the silence of magnets instead of velcro.

Perfect for when the cold gets to you! By Rayman1008 from Alexandria, Va. on 02/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Camo Design, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Casual Wear, Cold Climate Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves/mittens are great! They are very warm and extremely comfortable. You can wear them as mittens (as shown) or flip open the mitten top to expose gloved fingers. There is also a zippered compartment, over the finger area, in which you can place one of those hand warmer packets (really cool!). I highly recommend these gloves to everyone. You don't have to hunt to be warm!

Not the quality I am used to. By T L from Annapolis, MD on 01/01/2009 Cons: Poor Styling, Rips Easily, Synthetic leather is poor Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: In a goose blind, I may use them under the cold conditions, but I will have to take them off to shoot, which is contrary to their purpose.
By [*] from Atlanta on 12/31/2008 Cons: Not Warm Enough, Very poor below 40 F Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Good camo good above 40F Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A relatively inexpensive camo glove for hunting in semi warm weather. The thumb slot has no internal glove feature and the wind can come through the folding seam.I got these more for concealment than keeping warm, even with the chemical inserts in the finger tips area, 40 g of thinsulite is insufficent for any degree of warmth comfort below 40 F.
