By Wish I Could Keep It from South Carolina on 07/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Warm Cons: Baggy sleeves, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket would be perfect if the sleeves were more fitted. The torso fit fine, but the arms were loose and then pulled in at the wrists. I want something with a closer fit to wear on it's own or under another jacket.
Just as the title reads, "Jacket liner" By Avid walker from Seal Rock, OR on 03/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderful for a climent of around 50-65 degrees. If colder layer this jecket with another on top, you get hot take it off. Great jacket for medium build people. I am 5"9 and have a little truble with the length because I have a long mid section.
Lowe alpine revo jacket liner - women By nic from Charlotte, NC on 12/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my everyday jacket, but I also wear it as a liner for winter sports. The length is great, I don't expose half my back when I'm running around playing with my kids. The arm length is perfect as well.
By Hollie from TN on 12/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Cons: Does not hold shape well Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the jacket. It did say jacket liner and it is just that. Lightweight, does not hold shape well, but I don't want to ever take it off! I wish I'd bought the jacket to zip it into.
By S from MD on 11/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this jacket in 2 sizes, and neither was really a right fit. Sizing up (as suggested by other reviewers) had me swimming, while my "true" size fit, but was straight and snug, with super-long sleeves. I appreciate the length in the body and arms, but the jacket is cut straight, not for curvy bodies. Otherwise, the material is soft and stretch panels offer some shaping. On-seam zip pockets are a nice feature, but since this jacket will not work with my ski shell, both sizes are getting returned.
By G from Charlotte on 11/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love how comfortable this jacket is, the material is wonderful. I wear it almost every day when the weather permits, or I can wear it inside another jacket if its really cold.
Way too long for average woman! By ZealouslyB from Maine, USA on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Nice fit to body, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to zip into a shell that I have already (for skiing), as I have worn out my current zip in. I like that this jacket has stretchy material under the arms, helps prevent wear and makes is more flexible. Close fitting to the body, not bulky at all, while still being pretty warm. However, reading other reviews I bought an XL because of the tight fit and the arm length (I'm 5'6, have very long arms). The jacket fit well to my body and the arm length was perfect- but the jacket length itself was ridiculous! It's long enough for a woman 6' tall to still have generous length. Looked like a tunic on me, no way it will zip into my shell. Unfortunately, there are no larges left so I'm back searaching for a new, affordable zip in!
By Ash from Tallahassee, FL on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used this jacked for anything other than casual wear but it appears to be doing its job so far. It's comfy, is well-made, and the fleece neck feels great.
By RoadRash from Albuquerque, NM on 05/28/2008 Best Uses: Cross-Country Skiing, Winter Running Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a synthetic insulated "puff" jacket. While this jacket claims to be insulated, the insulation is no all over. This jacket has thin fabric stretch panels on the sides. I could blow through them. No insulation and allowing air infiltration defeats the jacket's purpose of being an insulator. It would only be useful for highly aerobic activity in cold weather, such as running or cross-country skiing. I returned the product. I liked the fit, it is very trim with very long arms. I am 6 ft, size 12 and got the XL, which fit me nicely.
Doesn't work as an outer jacket By Don't Back Down from Sebastopol, CA on 03/14/2008 Pros: Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Warm Best Uses: Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was hoping this jacket would work as an outer jacket rather than an inner layer as it is intended. The fit does not work as an overall jacket - too tight in shoulders and torso, sleeves too long. This would make a good, warm layering piece for more extreme weather. In terms of size, I usually wear a 6 on top and found the size small was too small in the shoulders. The medium worked in the shoulders but the sleeves were too long.
