The buttons should have been reinforced. The color is very versatile (I think I got the "ecru" or light tan one).
By Highlander in the Flatlands from Texas on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautifully crafted, authentic British sweater with an interesting, thick cable knit design. It is warm & cozy and feminine for a sweater of this style, not frumpy, which is something I wasn't sure about. The quality is apparent, despite the dangling buttons, and best of all, it is NOT made in China! After reading other reviews by people with longer arms like me, I expected the sleeve length to be a bit on the long side, but I did not find this to be the case with my medium white sweater.

It is so comfortable, warm, and good looking that I have a hard time choosing something else to wear.
By Lisa from Santa Rosa, Ca on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Warm, nice-looking sweater. I am a size 6 about and the small fit nicely, big enough to wear over a very light sweater or long-sleeved shirt for sure. A tad "old-lady" looking, but with some stylish jeans, will be fine. Appears to be well-made, buttons might need some reinforcing.

By 2 1/2 from midwest on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My favorite sweater around the house and to run errands. It is very warm, arms and body are long enough (often a problem). I will take off the buttons and sew them on with counter buttons since they hang lolling down as soon as you use them once. The wool is very soft and keeps me warmer than I thought it would. Rustic, hand-knit style.

I've already gotten complements on it. The cable knit pattern is beautiful. It's perfect for crisp fall days. It's the sort of thing that will never go out of style.

Chilly & Damp? This is so cozy!! By checkerer from Pacific Northwest, WA on 10/01/2009 Pros: Super soft and cozy warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love Glover sweaters, cushy, soft, and cozy! It took me a few minutes to back the buttons so they won't droop, no biggie...I have long arms and these are long on me, but it's so rare to find sleeves long enough that I am NOT complaining. A sweater like this is gold in our rainy, cold climate. Great buy!
Beautiful sweater, I would buy again By Lilly from Hampton, NH on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great sweater. It is not itchy, I've worn it with a short sleeve shirt. The only issue I had was the buttons were extremely loose, I had to back them with backing buttons as suggested by another reviewer. Also, if a button was lost, the sweater did not come with an extra button. However, I would but this sweater again.
