By Sally Alleyseed from Denver on 11/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This breathable and quite warm sweater is just what I wanted for wearing around the house when I turn the thermostat down. It is very high-quality and well-made except that the buttons are sewn to just one strand of wool which tends to pull. This can be solved by sewing another, 4-hole button behind the fabric under the original button, sewing both together, to distribute the load.
Soon to be an old favorite By Loving the rain from Portland, OR on 11/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Color, High Quality, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a super comfy sweater. A little roomy and not highly fitted, but not frumpy dumpy either. Sleeves and overall length are great--I'm tall so this is often a challenge--not in this case though. Works well with a tee or turtleneck underneath. Color's great. On the coldest days this is going to be a favorite one to slip into.
good quality but collar funny By merrimaker from athens, ga on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice quality sweater. But the collar is small, making the rest of the sweater --or its wearer---look huge. Perhaps in the smaller sizes this is not an issue. Otherwise, the sweater is nice quality for the price.

Really nice except for buttonholes By LoveMyLabs from Finger Lakes Region, NY on 11/08/2008 Pros: Flattering, Great Color, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a somewhat heavy sweater with an unusual knit pattern that I really liked. Based on reviews, I ordered a size up (medium) but the small would have been a better choice. I am a size 6 and need a broad shoulder fit and long length sleeves but the medium was quite generous through the bust (which I don't need). The sweater looked terrific on but I returned it because the two bottom button holes were already beginning to unravel and open up. Otherwise, the sweater was of high quality.

I don't know if it was the cable design or my long torso.
