This sweater is exactly what I wanted. It is long, warm, chunky, funky. The only thing I don't care for are the belt loops which I can take off. Most of the time I won't wear the belt. With the belt on, the sweater looks a bit frumpy as others have said. I wear it over jeans and a fitted top and a pair of sneakers and I am warm.

Comments:
The office women of a certain age keep the thermostat in the 60s and heaters are frowned upon. Rather than continue to wear layers, 8-ply cashmere sweaters and polar fleece to work all summer here in the semi-tropics, I sought the biggest, warmest sweater I could find -- and this is it. My face, hands and feet still freeze, but my entire body from neck to knees is toasty warm wrapped in this cocoon of a sweater. If it gets warm, let the front hang open. It does run small. I'm tall and thin, the medium barely fits, wish I'd've gotten the large. If you need something to wrap up in to keep you warm, this WILL do it.

Comments:
I bought my first Glover sweater in London, in the early 80's, so I knew what to expect: they're big and bulky, all about the cable stitching... they wear you, and not the other way around. So this model does nothing for your figure either but it's warm and practical and oddly attractive. A great piece for shivery early spring mornings and windy late fall days when you want something substantial around you ... I can't see this for indoor wear, although others recommend it for lounging ... seems like you would stretch the seat with all that sitting! It's a heavy piece for home or office. (I live in the cold northeast, where winter days hover at 15-degrees and I still wouldn't wear this piece indoors) This is meant for country walks and running errands -- something about the way it closes firmly around the body that gives it a brisk outdoor air. You could toss it in your suitcase for a get-away weekend, and wear it morning noon and night. (Then, it doubles as a robe!) Love the color, love the fit (I'm a 12, medium's perfect). Softer than other Glover-made merinos I've owned. One huge drawback: NO POCKETS...

Comments:
This sweater is extremely warm, perfect for a chilly house. The sleeves are on the long side, and it is not as soft as I expected it to be. I had to return it because a seam on the side was unravelled.

This big, thick sweater is so nice I bought one in each color. I ordered the large to be roomy enough to wear as a robe over my pajamas. Just perfect in my old, chilly house. After wearing it for a few days I realized what a great idea it was and ordered a second one. It is fantastically warm. I look like the broad side of a barn in it but it's for me to wear at home and I love it.

I'm using this thick and cozy long sweater as my at-home robe! I bought a large and wear it over my pajamas. It's perfect for my draftly old house. I've been wearing an all wool robe since the 80's. It has worn so thin that you can see through it. Finally a worthy replacement! Love it.

Great sweater. I wanted something warm to wear as I waited for it to heat up in my office -- also, many times when everyone else is comfortable with the temperature, I'm still cold. So, this sweater works very well for me. I am glad I read the reviews and went with a larger size than I might normally order. Because of this I got a great fit.
