It is supple and soft and it would be both windproof and very warm for the cold winters of Maine.

Construction very solid, material lovely. My first leather jacket, so we'll see how I handle the cleaning/wear issues. Removable hood a real plus for me. Luxurious, but not lavish looking.

This jacket is just the right mix of weight, style and practicality. It is very warm, but can be used in some dressy situations (ie. great for NYC!). Other than the small hand pockets, it is perfect.

I wear a size M/8-10 top, and have plenty of room to wear a sweater under the size 8 coat. Cozy like a pair of shearling slippers, you'll fall asleep warm in this coat. Outstanding material.

I'm size 14 and I'd need 12 or even 10 to actually fit into it. It keeps you very warm at the price of lugging 10lbs on your back. Nice deal altogether but with some qualifications.

The leather is heavy which means it will keep you warm at the price of lugging 20lbs on your back. Casual styling.

I bought the coat in black leather and the size was true, would call it a relaxed fit, but I like winter coats to have room for sweaters. This coat is stunning and a really great bargain. It is very warm but not heavy to wear. The shearling is soft and the leather is gorgeous. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Normally my sizing varies from size 4 to 6, I ordered a size 6 in this style and it is a perfect fit. A great value and a great quality jacket. So glad I didn't listen to the reviews on other merchandise [...]. One happy shopper!!!!!
