I lost some weight so I had to replace the 3 that I already owned plus 4 more on sale styles and colors. They are simply my favorite brand because of the fit, the variety of styles and colors, the incredible pricing. They may not work for everyone, but I love them and always look for FDJ Dressing Pants whenever I go to the STP site. I'm a petite, so regular sizing is always too long for me. I get them hemmed at the tailor.

I returned them for the next smaller size & was disappointed to see that the closure was only a hook & eye set-up. These pants are also very wide in the leg and VERY long. Even with heels, I had to have them tailored. The fit in the back end was nice & I did like the fabric.

The size 4 worked better but there was a closure problem. [...] They are VERY long for me. Even in heels- but they fit so nicely I can hem them myself.

They will also be good for slightly dressy times with a nice blouse. They are light, drape well, and the fit is flattering. They seem a bit higher than midrise, but don't have that awful high waist fit. The wide waistband feels good and stays flat. Classic, but with a nice feminine drape. Haven't washed yet.

True the fabric is a bit on the thin side, However not that big of a problem. These are definately a summer weight fabric. They fit great and are very comfortable. I would reccomend

They are super-versatile and long enough to wear heels with (I'm 5' 6") I do wear hosiery or a smoothing undergarment underneath since the fabric is not thick, but it's nice and drapey. I wouldn't want the fabric to be any thicker; it's perfect for any season. Nice boot-cut leg too.

I also had to have them shortened (I am 5'8"). I would've returned them but they look really nice if I wear something that covers the waist gap. Plus, the quality is superior to anything I have found anywhere else.
