The fit runs on the small side. I went up a size. The stretch is nice, it is comfortable. Really keeps the cold and wind out too.
By Juice from Upstate NY on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I plan to use this jacket for everything --- casual, cycling, running, walking and cross-country skiing. I hit my first heavy rainfall yesterday, and I was dry. This is a quality jacket for the price, with many tech features. I love the 2 adjustments on the hood, the soft fabric at the chin and the positioning of the pockets. I had a little trouble opening the pit zips with the jacket on, but, oh well. I had to re-order for a larger size than I normally wear.

It has everything you need for a rain jacket and it comes with style. Mammut just make incredible clothes. The only thing is: the fit. It is smaller than expected (I normaly wear seize M and I had to order L).

By KK from Texas on 01/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Fits smaller sizes, Good Weight Best Uses: Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a good lightweight shell. The XS actually fit me instead of acting like a sail during outdoor activity like some other jackets I've tried-- but there was still just enough room for a warm layer or fleece underneath.
By exercisejunkie from Branchville, NJ on 11/28/2007 Cons: not cut for petites, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return this jacket as it was too tight around the hips. I am a petite in sizing. Regular sizing is not proportioned properly for short people. If a jacket is not forgiving in the hips, as it would normally fall at a taller persons waist, a short person can't wear it. Therefore, I can't comment on how well it would fit someone who is taller or on its wearablility. I could only recommend this to someone who isn't short.
