Really soft and comfortable By Fast as Molasses from Western MA on 04/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Wicks Away Moisture Cons: A little warm for summer Best Uses: Daily Use, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are really soft, comfortable socks. I've had trouble with blisters wearing thinner CoolMax socks on long runs and no such trouble with these. Seem to wear well so far, and several trips through the wash haven't shrunk or changed them. They were a little warm in 85 degree heat, but I only noticed after my run, not during. I'm sold on SmartWool!
By cooie caramel from wisconsin on 04/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Smart Wool! These are the first runners I've gotten and I couldn't be happier with them. The coolest thing about Smart Wool socks is that they take days to get smelly! So they are great for traveling light.

No itch, excellent wicking.

By WonRun from Washington DC on 04/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Cons: need to size up a bit Best Uses: Running, Working Out Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Smartwool socks are great. They last forever, fit well and provide good arch support. They are my preferred sock for running. I have to size up one size though: they kind of shrink a bit when washed. This style is fun, too.
All time best socks for running By Happy Female Master Runner from Southwest NH on 04/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been running for over 30 years so I've tried them all! I was always reluctant to try SmartWool socks on recommendation of friends because of the price. I tried them last year for the first time and now will run in nothing else. The "medium cushioning" is best for me as I no longer feel those calloused areas on the ball of my foot when I run. And don't let the word "wool" fool you into thinking they're too hot for summer. These are very comfortable and wicking even in heat. [...] I just ordered 6 pair. Thank you STP for providing this quality product [...]
