Nice looking jacket but. . . By Kay from Seattle, WA on 10/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am small (4'11", 98 lbs) and usually wear a 0 or 2 petite. The jacket fits me around the hips, but the sleeves are 6" too long. I will be returning the jacket.

We purcahsed this for our daughter and she loves it. She's normally a small, but the x-small fits her perfectly.

Not cut for athletic women By Be Outside from Post Falls, ID on 09/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Well Made Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Tight in the hips and too big through the mid-section. Not cut for the athletic women.
By erin the traveler from SC and Costa RIca on 05/01/2009 Pros: Good color, Nice long sleeves Cons: Bulky, Not breathable, Poor Fit, Unattractive Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this jacket when I was shopping for a rain jacket to wear in Costa Rica. It's warm, but wet, so I needed something a little more breathable than the Mountain Hardwear Epic Jacket. Despite this jacket's pit zips, the fabric was confining and way too muh like a plastic bag.
The jacket might be fine in colder weather, though.
Sizing: sleeves are long which I love since I am tall. Fit was awkward - very bulky in the body, form fitting in the arms. The jacket body is short (like a jacket should be), but I decided I wanted more length and went with a parka.

Can't wait to try a hike in the rain! Time will tell how durable it is, but it feels well made.

Great Jacket.. glad I got a smaller size By Chicago Cyclist Gal from Chicago, IL on 12/04/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Well Made Best Uses: Outdoor Activities, Travel Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Mountain Hardwear products seem to run very large.. The jacket is great and well made and keeps you dry. I have both the Epic Jacket and the Epic Pant. I usually wear a size M across the board (6-8) and am a 36D in the chest but I ordered a small and it fits just fine, with enough room to wear a sweater underneath or light jacket. I have a medium in the Epic pant and I'm swimming in it... I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs and I should fit a medium just fine but the pants even fit my 6ft tall husband. Bottom line, the brand is great but order a smaller size.
By Bozzie from Evergreen, CO on 08/22/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is beautiful! It will be everything I want when I exchange for the XS. For reference, I am 5'3" and 118lbs and the small is too big. Also, the Margarita color is bright and beautiful. It is brighter than it appears on my computer.
