Liked it so much I bought 2... By Chilly in CT from New England on 11/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Stretchy flexible, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Such a great all purpose jacket that I bought 1 for my best friend for her B-day! The multi-blue color (06) is a beautiful feminine shade of blue. The cut is quite feminine as well, not at all boxy. My only complaint is I found it to be a bit too tight in the shoulders and chest. Im 36" around my chest and the "large" borders on being tight especially if wearing something thick underneath the jacket. I also wish it was a tad bit warmer. There's a ton of handy pockets that I love. Packs well & doesn't wrinkle. I wore this in a DRIVING New England rain storm and although my head got soaked (no hood on this jacket) my upper body stayed dry. The water just beaded right off. Great price for a great jacket.
By Isabella's Mom from Texas on 11/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The concept was great but the fit was too off. I ordered a medium, I'm 5'3" and the sleeves went inches beyond my fingertips. I couldn't get past this as the sleeves would bunch. Sure it has a technical fit, but I wasn't planning on rock-climbing with it! So I returned it with regret because it did look very nice. BTW - this is just a shell, don't expect a lining or something fleece-like inside!

Not warm enough for skiing.

Very light weight, warm, and attractive... and it even keeps me dry when it rains! Only thing, though, is that it does not run true to size, at least it didn't for me. I'm a small in shirts, but I usually always wear a medium in jackets so I can fit light layers underneath and still have it be fitted... this fits like a large. Still attractive, but not as fitted as I thought it would be according to the description. Also, this jacket would be pretty perfect if it had a hood, so that's too bad. But on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, I give this an 8! (-1 for the larger fit and -1 for no hood)

Bought for my wife. She has a little trouble with the double zipper, but she'll get used to it. She watches football outdoors on Sundays like a champ now.
By MsAnnaNOLA from New Orleans, LA on 10/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, I like versatility, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I liked this jacket. I realized black would be great because I could wear it around town and with street clothes as well as for athletic persuits. I like that it is water resistant which my other black jacket is not. This is true to size for Mountain Hardwear. I wear small in their sweaters and most tops. I got both medium and small. Returned small because layering would not have worked.

I love the way it fits and looks. The only con is that it could be just a little thicker, but I am very happy with the overall jacket and extremely happy with the price. Thank you!

By Julie from Portland, OR on 08/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stretchy, Unusual color Best Uses: Cross-country skiing, Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this jacket a lot. It's high quality and an unusual shade of brown. The Size L feels a little long (in the sleeves, too), but I decided that it layers well over my fleece and allows for more freedom of movement. I'm taking it on a four day backpacking trip and think it will be perfect!
