By boohiss from Minnesota on 09/15/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight Cons: Collects Condensation, Flimsy Construction, Poor Fly Design Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This tent is a joke...the fly doesnt work, the seams ripped, and it couldnt hold up in the rain at all....it caved in and soaked us at 3am! We used this ten 3 times this summer and as long as it wasnt raining it was fine.
By Heatstroke Jenni from Indianapolis, IN on 08/10/2009 Cons: Collects Condensation, Leaks at seams, No airflow, No screens, Poor Fly Design Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: There is NO rear door. The "breathable mesh vent" is sewn over and there are NO screens, none. Therefore no airflow and it is HOT. We got sick. Where the middle poles connect to the tent bottom, water came in during a rainshower at the seams. The zipper broke on the bag and the front fly is very hard to zip. Poorly made tent and misadvertised.
Not enough screens, good in the rain By km from ct on 08/05/2009 Cons: Collects Condensation, Difficult To Setup Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not enough ventilation. Where there should be screens there are plastic windows. Great in rainy conditions
By outsider from NC on 06/10/2009 Cons: Flimsy Construction, Poor Fly Design, Poor stitching Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My poles came with a broken elastic connector and my bag ripped when first opening the tent. Ventelation is bad. Unless you're looking for limited use, fork over more $ for a better tent that will last you and perform better.
Poor Construction w/o Vents By Stinky from Del Mar, CA on 01/26/2009 Cons: Flimsy Construction, No vents Best Uses: Car Camping, Sauna Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Car camping. Price is the only thing positive about this tent. The tent bag ripped on the first pull. There is mesh on the inside that looks to be a vent but its not. There is no ventilation unless you leave the front(non vented) door open. If you are camping in mosquito areas beware.
By Kids Camp from VT on 07/22/2008 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Waterproof Cons: Poor construction, Poor Fly Design Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It tore a hole near a seam the 1st night I had it. Alot of pressure is put on the materials by the tent poles.
