how about some set-up instructions?! By JJ from Minneapolis, MN on 08/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Cons: Difficult To Setup, Flimsy Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tent for my two-year-old son's introductory camping trip. It was a frustration trying to set it up in the yard before our trip, and not any better in the woods. How about one or two simple instructions with the tent?
Once we had it set up, it did provide all the comfortable space and open, airy feel that we wanted.
It was pretty good at keeping out water during some very heavy rainstorms and was very sturdy during near-tornado winds.
Despite all that, two of the zippers couldn't stand up to two days of normal use. The zipper repairs were estimated at more than I paid for the tent, so I threw it away after only one use!!!
