One thumb up and one thmb down.... By briano52 from los altos, california on 07/23/2008 Pros: Bright, Nice size, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking, Scuba Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice light. I bought three of these and two were great. One didn't work even though I switched out the batteries and bulb. Must have been the contacts? The ones that worked are great and work at 100 feet down while diving. Probably OK in the rain!!

By Bargain Shopper from Detroit area, MI on 07/17/2008 Cons: Heavy, Low battery life Best Uses: Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent, very bright light. It has low battery life. But that is always the trade off with bright bulbes. The light is very well made. It feels very durable. The design is simple. The package even includes batteries. The light is bit hard to turn on.
