No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Got these for my husband for this ski season, looks sharp, very warm, BUT finger seams are tearing and PVC is cracking after only about 2 to 3 times of use. Bad PVC choice likely, what a pity, since if the durability were like Grandoe's other products, this would have been a stellar pair of gloves. [...]

There should be the ability to rate items as "0 (zero)-stars". These gloves started to fall apart in the seams where the palm meets the fingers on the first day of a ski trip.

Got these for my grandson for skiing. He was out in below zero weather and his hands did not get cold. He loves these gloves and the price is right.

Comments:
This glove has lots of good design concepts like the PVC palms, finger grips, back-of-hand pockets, and easy pull draw strings on the wrist. Also, I couldn't beat the price when on sale and with a discount. However, my fingers always seem to be cold when I am not moving. After just a few snow experiences with my kids, I noticed that the material between the finger was beginning to crack. Afterwards, my first ski experience with the gloves is hastening the damage and is wearing holes in the plastic.
