By Justodd from Silver Spring, MD on 08/04/2009 Pros: A good piece of kit, Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I typically carry a multitool with me, but have had the knives fail when having to tackle more robust tasks like chopping branches for firewood...other than that I was just looking for a good sturdy fixed blade knife for use in the out doors that could be easily accessed. This knife is probably more than I would every need (who knows?) but at the price it was going for, I couldn't pass it up!
Excellent knife allround. By Billybobber from Charleston SC on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, High Quality, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Hunting, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Blade is heavy duty thus knife is heavy. Not had long enough judge if blade keeps is sharpness.
Very nice knife for the money By Dragon Doctor from Upstate NY on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Sharp Blade Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I looked at this knife last December on another website and it was quite a bit more expensive. At the time I decided on the Seal Pup from SOG. When I saw this as a special bargain I almost couldn't believe it. CRKT knives are always well made for the money. If you wanted to spend like 5 times as much you could get better stuff but not in this price range.

Fantastic quality for this price By srg from Victoria, MN on 07/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Finish, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Camping, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice knife for this price point. Serrations are really deep but cut well. Sheath is a little too "tactical" for my use, but sturdy.
