By Davis B from North Carolina on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Aside from the relative lightweight aspects and good water-proofing, the shoe has a removable footbed and sufficient height to allow my custom orthotics to fit. Many shoes I have tried, this results in heel slippage. These, however, do not. I bougth 2 pairs. Great shoes.. comfortable and light. I often wear them for 14 hours and working on hard surfaces/concrete and my foot fatigue is minimized.
By DRH from Fairbanks, Alaska on 07/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This a sturdy well made running shoe. They did not require much break in at all. The gore tex liner breathes better than I thought it would.

Had one pair and bought two more! By Wisconsin Bill from Door County, WI on 07/19/2008 Pros: Durable, Good bargain, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in the country in Wisconsin and last year we had lots of snow. These shoes were warm, slip resistant and good for general wear. Bought my first pair in Jackson, WY and I bought two more from Sierra TP because I liked them so much.
supportive but not terribly comfortable By Mark from Virginia Beach on 06/28/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The manufacturer could have done much more to make this shoe comfortable . It appears durable and has great traction ,but needs to padded and sized to protect toes from the rubber toe guard on the front of the shoe. and the heel cup is a little too deep. Overall , I would not recommend this shoe to anyone who plans a long hike .
By matamua from salt lake city, UT on 06/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Shoes are comfortable although they are a little narrow for my taste. I usually wear a 11.5 in Vasque and that is what I bought. I'm sure they will stretch a little, but I wish they were a little wider. They are also a little to warm to wear everyday, but that is to be expected with goretex shoes.

By Surprise Guy from Surprise, AZ on 05/20/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Doesn't need break-in, Stable Cons: Insole different in each, Very snug Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was just a touch too small. The bad part about ordering shoes online. I could have lived with it with thin socks, but my 16 year old son liked them, and they fit him well with a heavy sock. [...] Worst problem is that the insoles must be differnt in each shoe. After a few hours, my right leg was in pain and left leg felt perfect. Going to replace insole with superfeet. They required no break in. They were perfect right out of the box.
By macbosch from East, Tn on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tightens on a part of my foot I am not use to, so it took awhile to get use to. But I love them now
