Not as waterproof as you would think. By Chuck from Madison, WI on 10/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Decent boots. The traction with them is spotty. The soles seem to get slippery when wet. They don't work well on ice or icy conditions. They are not waterproof. They are fine in cold dry snow. I've gotten wet socks from water coming through the boots

Dry and warm...Just what I wanted.... By OKATVRIDER from Tulsa, OK on 10/09/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots before my annual ATV trip in the early Fall...My main use would be for riding ATV's in the cold and wet of Fall and Winter...After my 1sst test I would say they worked well...Temps were mid 50's and conditions were really wet and soggy...Boots were warm and dry...However, they did get soaked when my pants got soaked and the water ran down into top of boots...My fault, not theirs...You should really think about going up at least a size, if not a full one...Very tight when ordered in my regular size...
By Ron from Ft. Polk, LA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works well on the flat trails of Louisiana- kept my feet dry in the early AM dew and muck of the bog.
By lieve from grand rapids on 08/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are a good deal at the regular discounted price and especially with the additional percentage off. I wanted comfortable and lightweight boots to wear walking my dog in places and at times where my feet would get wet. I found the boots true-to-size; however, I cannot easily slip in and out of them. Because of their height and relatively small opening, it's a bit of a squeeze to get them on and off. A finger loop above the heel aids in the process.

By weekend hiker from Tully, N.Y. on 05/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would not use this boot for heavy hiking I don't feel the construction and lacing system would take heavy wear. Good for day hikes and casual walking.
Nice pair to have. Comfortable, stylish By neilskis from West Palm Beach, Florida on 04/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used it during my ski vacation in Vermont. My feet stayed warm and not wet. Like past reviews, I ordered 1/2 size bigger and fit perfectly. I got lucky with this buy, considering I'am not a rubbershoes/sneaker type of guy. But it very well served its purpose. Overall a great find for me.
A great everyday pair of boots By Crazy Dog Walker from New Jersey, USA on 03/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Laces stay tied, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Dog-Walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great light-weight pair of boots for the cold, wet weather. Easy to get on and off and the laces stay tied without triple knotting! For me they were super-comfortable right out of the box. However, they are narrow-fitting which is fine for me, though if you have a wide foot, that may be a consideration. These boots are not bulky at all. Traction is good in the snow. I got these for general wintery conditions (aka cold, some snow) and they are perfect for that. Since they aren't really tall, you may find it a problem in deep snow. I also chose these boots because they are comprised of man-made materials, which is hard to come by, especially in a mid- to low-height winter boot.
I cannot say anything about durability at this point since I have only had them a short time, but they appear well made, and I haven't had any immediate construction issues.
