great shoes, don't listen to advice By alex from san francisco on 08/31/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i bought a 12 because the description suggested that i get a 1/2 larger. even though the shoes fit, it is a little large. i would have gotten a better fit if i just got a regular size (11 1/2). the shoes are wide, so its perfect for people like me who have wide feet. very comfortable and stable!

These boots were way too wide (the eyelet loops met in the middle of my laceup line). I swear by Vasque and have used their Borneo model boots before without problem so it surprised me to see such a difference in boot lasts.
