Nice boot, didn't "order up" By Diddly from Chicago on 03/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I did not "order up"[...] I was pleasantly surprised that boot still fit well. I like the look and feel, and haven't experienced any problems after the first week.
By BOB from Cincinnati, OH on 02/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are great. They feel like shoes yet wear like boots. I had my doubts on how warm they were when I first looked at them (because they look and feel more like high top shoes, thin and not bulky at all), but they are suprisingly very warm. Warmer than my North Face boots that have the same amount of insulation. They are also very comfortable.

Postal carriers wanted to know how much they cost. When I told them they all wanted a pair. Insulated-Water Proof! Nuff said!
By Mama Rocks from LaFayette, GA on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: "These boots are GREAT!" was the comment coming from our teenage son. I purchased my first pair of Vasque boots last year. After a few days of wear, I promised myself that as each member of our family needed their boots replaced it would be with a Vasque boot.
By rocky from santa cruz, ca on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice but slippery on some surfaces, such as wet rocks.
Vasque uses different size lasts By Fivenick9 from Denver, CO on 01/28/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned the boots because they fit differently than another pair of Vasque boots of the same size... I assumed a boot by the same maker in the same size would be near the same fit.... NOT AT ALL!!! the boot looked great.. I just wish it fit like my other Vasque boots.
WOULD RECOMMEND WITH CAUTIONS TO TRY ON FIRST!
By The Big E from The North Woods, MN on 01/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction Best Uses: Casual winter wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are too low for wearing in deep snow (I managed to get a fair amount of snow in the tops when I experimented with wearing them snowshoeing). But they have good traction on slippery compacted snow, and they're great for wandering out into the yard to take the trash out, put the dog out, walk kids to bus stops, futz with the grill, or wearing to work on those days when I finally break down and admit it's too cold to wear my Chucks.
I wound up swapping out the laces for shorter ones and putting a toggle on them to save the hassle of tying and untying them (I had been leaning strongly toward buying a pair of Salomons with the Quick-Fit laces for just this purpose, but the Vasques + toggles were a much better deal).
I have wide forefeet and usually wear an 11.5--bought 11.5s and they fit very well.
By HappyFeet from New River, AZ on 01/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband has very wide feet. I first ordered a 9 1/2, his normal shoe size, after reading the reviews, but they were too short and too tight. I traded them for a 10 1/2 and they are perfect. He loves them, says they are very comfortable, and his feet stayed dry while snowshoeing, (wearing gaiters) even breaking trail in deep snow. I highly recommend these, maybe order a half to full size up if you're wearing thick socks.
