Wow! Great Shoe, Unbeatable Price! By Red75 from Vermont on 08/06/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had these shoes for nearly a year now. I was a little nervous about buying a light colored shoe..no need for that here. These shoes clean up wonderfully! I've hiked and walked miles in them (two miles a day and then day hikes.)
They were comfortable out of the box and have held up wonderfully. They are still firm and supportive and wonderfully molded to my feet. Great product from Vasque; great price from Sierra Trading Post! I would buy again without hesitation!
As is typical for Vasque, great shoe! By drdi from Downeast Maine on 05/16/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Narrow heel for N foot, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Narrow heel if you are W Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with all Vasque shoes, this is well made, well supported. I have a narrow foot, so this fits fine, but if you have a wider foot, it may not.
By MrsR from Palmer AK on 04/27/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought Vasques because I know they fit my foot and feel great without being too hot. These trail runners fit that profile. They're stable and supportive and the treads are grippy on wet grass, gravel and other trail conditions. They're not waterproof but they dry quickly. The only downside is they're a little inflexible and nonresponsive, which you feel most when running on paved surfaces.
I am sorry i had to return the shoes . By terri from maryland on 04/24/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Dries Quickly, Shock-Absorbent Cons: Not Comfortable, Poor Cushioning Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use it every day to work. The shoe is too narrow for me.

They required no break in time and feel great on my feet.
By Mtnlover from Churchville, VA on 02/09/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Great Traction Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just ordered these shoes a few weeks ago, and I wore them around town to break them in. They were comfortable to stand in, but if you have a high arch, the laces are a little tight, like mine. These shoes are a little on the heavy side as well, but overall, a great product for [$]!!
True to size & width, quality shoe. By Abue from Tucson, Az on 01/25/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Cons: Haven't used in wet yet Best Uses: Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: VERY VERY happy I got these shoes! Went out on trails without break-in and didn't even notice. GREAT shoe.
By Double Back Surgery from Hanover, PA on 12/02/2008 Cons: Edges of tongue rubs feet, Poor Cushioning, Rubs my pinky toes Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes, regardless of the cons, look great.
By b0hemian girl from Los Angeles on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All day shopping, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Avid trail hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these because the price was so great and the shoes are fabulous. I do a lot of serious hiking and backpacking in the SW and over the years I have bought hiking shoes and trail runners from at least 8 different well-regarded shoe/boot companies. They all had their good points, but Vasque continues to remain the standout best. Vasque requires no breaking-in period, even for mountaineering boots. Vasque boots and shoes are like sticking your foot into marshmellow and being cushioned all day. This is my 5th pair of Vasque, and I've used these most for walking around on paved trails and even the outlets Xmas shopping mainly because I was reluctant to get them covered with Utah's red dust!
By Red75 from Vermont on 09/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far so good. I think the shoes are very comfortable. They are replacing a pair that I have had for nearly five years. They seemed very comfortable out of the box and are a very nice looking shoe. The tread on the bottom is nice and aggressive and I am looking forward to trying them out in the mountains this week.
